WHAT IF I HAVE A PONYTAIL PALM THAT HAS 12 BABIES GROWING FROM THE ROOT BALL OF THE ORIGINAL PLANT

Answers

I would leave them. I have seen Beaucarnea's with three or four stems and they look great. If you only want the one stem though, just cut these shoots off cleanly at the base with a sharp knife.

The babies will grow as cuttings, but they will never develop the bulbous base.

How do I say thanks?
