i'm in the process of insulating my large containers before adding the soil..i'm using bubble wrap for the sides..my question..how do you insulate the bottom..what about providing drainage? TIA

hi have you thought about chunks of polystyrene for insulation and it would help in the drainage as well.good luck.

I use chunks of polystyrene from packaging. it makes the pots less heavy to move around too.

You don't cover drainage holes in pots with insulating material, so if you do, punch holes in it so as to enable water to drain through. I'm assuming there are holes in the pot...
