Is anyone experiencing my Hugh problem.
All my direct sowing of annuals are only just showing after three/ four weeks of sowing.i was relying on these for my cut flower buisness.
Also I purchased some lovely achillea plants last spring all colours, glorious, this year there is about six inch growth .
So disappointing, what have I done wrong.

Seaburngirl you have made my day.

Will these seedlings ever catch up.
This is the first time I have ever direct sown annuals, always started them off in the greenhouse.
I guess I can still sow.?

Its enough to make one spit feathers isn't it Pancy, I went out and purchased some Petunias because I was fedup of waiting for mine, they were sown early as well but that didn't help me at all, they are beginning to catch up now so will become gapfillers amongst the bought ones, just wish that somebody would slow the grass down as well....

Yes I quiet agree, nothing stops the grass, amazing.
Cold in West Sussex today no sun, overcast all day.
No wonder the seedlings are having to struggle
