A couple of small shrubs in the garden look great from Spring to about a week or two in early July then develop mildew problems,tried things previously mixed results any recommendations prefrably organic

Assuming its powdery mildew, improving air flow round the plant helps, as does keeping the roots well supplied with water. I shouldn't think the roots being dry would be an issue this year if your plants are in the ground though... effective organic treatment, 1 part cows milk to 9 parts water mixed in a spray, spray thoroughly, on top and under the leaves, till run off.
