I have an old rhododendron in the border by an enkianthus on one side & a spindle tree & birch on the other.Flowers have finished & I dead headed & noticed by overhanging spindle tree some rhodo leaves had pale brown stains or scorches. It was n't complete leaves that looked to have dried up just bits of leaf...enough to look unsightly. These have been side by side for many years. So any ideas?

Hi, it was probably just shedding a few old leaves then, even evergreens don't keep the same leaves forever, Derek.
