How do I get rid of ants inside my compost bin. I emptied the bin and cleaned it out last year, now they are back.

Water it, and the ants should leave. :)

Water it - ants in the heap are a sign its too dry, certainly dry enough for them to use it as a nest. Put water in and clear off for a while - the soldier ants will come out looking for something to attack for a time. Then have a look later and see if it needs more or not - you may need to turn it too.
