Has any one any experience of Ryobi grass cutters from Argos? we need a more powerful mower than the one we have at the moment. Comments appreciated.

I would agree with Steragram, our 1st port of call tends to be Screwfix and Tool Station. Sometimes 1 will be slightly cheeper then the other.

Thanks for your input, we do not have a screwfix locally although they will have a unit here later in the year. Our neighbour across the road bought a Ryobi 3 years ago, its bigger than one we would need, but he has never had any problems and he says it cuts well. It has 5 levels of cut, the lever is on the side of the unit so you do not have to turn it upside down, it also has a metal rather than plastic blade.
We are going to have a look at one tomorrow.

We went to B & Q this morning, bought a bosch 340, it was a bit more expensive than the Argos one, but more powerful and with our 10% wrinklies discount cost just 5p more,

« Is it possible to take a cutting from this fern and if so, how?
No, we bought a Lawnflite from Screwfix but probably bigger than you need. Do have a look at Screwfix though if you have one locally as they are cheaper than the shops and seem only to have good reliable stuff.
