It also depends partly on what kinds of weeds you are trying to kill. Some chemicals work better on some weeds than on other weeds.

recommend? Depends what you're trying to kill and, more importantly, where it is. If its in the lawn or on a path, you'll get a completely different answer than if its in a flower bed.
