day lilys,im haveing my lawn covered and i need to move my day lily.are they bulbs and will i kill it if i move it,i realy dont want to lose it.

No, you won't kill them if you move them now. This isn't the most ideal time to do it, but day lilies are robust & resilient and should recover. Ideally, you should wait until they are done blooming or snip off any flower stalks/buds just prior to transplanting so they can divert the energy to establishing a new root system. You may sacrifice this year's blooms or they may surprise you later in the season with new flowers. You may as well divide the root ball into two or three separate plants. Dig a new hole of equal depth, form a cone shaped mound at the base of the new hole. Sit the rootball on top of the mound splaying the roots around the mound at 45 degree angle. Back fill hole with rich moist soil & water it in. Full sun, moist rich soil, they should do fine.
