Some of my roses have not developed properly there leaves or stunted have tried normal spay that been no help

I would have to see a picture to be sure, but two possibilities are weed killer contamination, or a virus (mycoplasm?) infection called rose rosette.

Will post photo they are fairly old have some much older have fed on 6X ( chicken pellets in the spring ) have sprayed for greenfly and black spot

I'm afraid we need more information and preferably a photo or two. How long have you had the roses, are they in pots or in the ground, have you fed them and if so with what, and what spray did you use and why, that is, what specific pest or disease did you see that caused you to use the spray?
