Earlier this year, I planted some cosmos seeds. Grew nicely and now out in ground,They have grown strongly with attractive foliage but no sign of any flowers. Are they "blind" or just late ?

My cosmos started blooming mid to late August when I grew them. Thick stems and lacy foliage comes first. Cosmos loves to be left alone and that means no fertilizer. If you have fertilized then you will have greatly reduced its flower production. I would stake cosmos when they reach maturity so they don't collapse on windy days.

mine are not budding yet and I'm not expecting them to do so until later in July early August.
