Does anyone know what plant is shown in the middle of the photo - it is growing everywhere and even invaded the lawn?

I've never known what it's called, just know its a real pain in the proverbial - long, fragile white roots, leave one tiny piece and it grows again, seems impossible to eradicate.

looks like what I know as 'enchanter's nightshade'. either way it needs to come out.
