I have a honeysuckle plant (variety Scentsation) which had about 4 or 5 flowers on it when I bought it. However, those flowers have now died off. There seem to be more flowers ready to come out, but they are still at the green bud stage. It has been like this for about three weeks now with no sign of more flowers. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks very much, but I didn't know it could grow berries! Maybe that's what it's done, so what do I do now? It's in a container by the way, and I've moved it so it gets more sun.

You don't have to do anything except a trim if it gets too big.

Make sure the roots in the container are kept shaded. They like cold feet and hot heads.

The berries are beautiful, bright scarlet so you may want to leave a few on at the end of the season. I've never done anything to honeysuckle, its always managed on its own!

Nothing really. cut the dead blooms off if you can reach them to stop it forming berries and keep it watered well. I assume it is in the ground.
welcome to GoY too :o)
