It's a Potentilla fruticosa Nellie

An easy care small shrub which flowers most of the summer.

The catalogue of a nursery near where we used t live called it "the best value for money of any shrub"!!!

That may be so, Steragram, because its in flower for quite a long time, but I don't consider it one of the stars in the garden, makes a good 'filler' in between more exciting plants, otherwise, its just a teeny bit boring!
