Ailing Photinias
We have 2 Photinias in the front garden that have quite dramatically become very ill. Many leaves have suddenly gone brown. Im familiar with red spot fungus problems on Photinias- particulary in Spring- but this seems alot more and of a different nature. They have been in the same position for many years and are mature shrubs. We also have Photinias at the back that have not been affected. I have attached 2 photos giving a view of stems i have cut back. I have looked at the branches and there are no obvious signs of canker or any other problems. Could this be fire blight?? Any advice gratefully recieved thanks.
