My marrows are rotting sometimes from the end before they get more than about 6 inches long. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong. They are kept regularly watered.

Also, it might be the result of lack of pollination. If bees are absent, or always seem to be working somewhere else, you might have to come out in the morning with a cotton swab and make like a be yourself.

Try removing the flower remains once the marrow has begun to grow.
