My block paved drive is being attacked by a form of weed that I have been unable to identify. I have applied a strong mixture of various weed killers that have had no effect whatsoever and indeed the weed continues to thrive!
It is now spreading throughout the drive and I have now run out of ideas. Can anybody identify the weed and make any recommendations to help eliminate it
Many thanks.
Checked out Liverwort and this would appear to be the culprit. Onwards and upwards!
Help much appreciated

it looks like liverwort or moss to me.
they are 'rootless' so use a stiff brush and see if that removes it.

I wasn't sure it wasn't mind your own business...

I agree, probably liverwort, which won't be killed by weedkillers, but try for a better photo!

I actually quite like it and would be happy to keep it, but fully understand that others don't.

You can buy a tool in the GC that will scrape the liverwort/moss out from between the pavers. I'd them refill with sand to try and keep at bay.

If its liverwort, Pathclear makes a killer intended for hard surfaces, see here

Can you take another close up photo please - its not possible to tell under magnification precisely what the weed is. And what weedkillers have you already tried?
