We have a problem with our plum tree there seems to be some burrowing bug in it which leaves a small clear, glass-like globule on the skin of the fruit . The fruit just go mouldy on the branches any ideas??

Cut one open to see what's inside - Plum Sawfly gets inside plums, but usually when they're small, just fruitlets, and that would cause the fruits to rot, but there are other things - if you cut them open, you might be able to find something inside, or see the tunnel where whatever it was penetrated, and whether the fruits are full of excrement or not (yea, I know, sounds lovely doesn't it...)
