What to do with used potting compost?
I always think there must be a way to make best use of used potting compost, but I usually end up just sprinkling it around the garden to get rid of it unobtrusively. Does anyone have a better idea?

That's what we do too.

I do that too, it all helps to improve the clay & chalk soil.
Sometimes I put some in with the compost if I'm sure it's ok.

And that's what I do, spread it over the garden

If you have a veggie garden you can always bag the spent compost up and put it on the veggie plot once the veg have been lifted.

Maybe use as a mulch around shrubs, trees etc, compost it or put it on bare patches on the lawn, I have done the lawn many times and the worms take it down quite quickly.
