I live in SW France. Two years ago my neighbour finally cut down a nuisance acacia tree. This summer we have pulled up hundreds of acacia seedlings. How can I get rid of them using organic methods as I have dogs and cats and don't want to kill bees and butterflies?

Corn gluten meal will discourage the seeds from sprouting, but won't help with any that are already up.

if you want to avoid using chemicals then weeding them out is the only way I am afraid. Can you hoe them easier?
