I have a Rudbeckia cross with deamii, where is the best site for a potted plant, currently in part shade

It certainly doesn't look like my perennial Rudbeckias...but as Fractal says, they do prefer a mainly sunny position. My R. deamii is coming into bloom at the moment - several flowers open, and lots of buds, as is 'Goldsturm'.

Next question
Looks healthy enough now if that is the spot. Rudbeckia's are mostly classed as Prairie plants, so no trees or shade in habitat. They do prefer full sun but can tolerate light shade. I have to say that this looks more like a perennial Helianthus but I need a closer shot and a flower to be sure.
