Hi, do you know which species you have, {there are about 120} most of which are hardy down to about 14f, some are frost tender, while P setaceum is only frost hardy.they're best grown in a light, moderately fertile, well drained soil, in full sun, if you live in a frost prone area, use a dry winter mulch, the chances are you have 1 of the hardier species, Derek.

'Skyrocket' is a P. setaceum variety, which means that it is only hardy down to -4º C.
