Have just purchased some more Scarlet Princess Lobelia.
They were reduced for the end of season. They last ones were chomped by slugs as I didn't put pellets down. Do you think it would be better to keep them potted for winter? Some of the flowers have died off. Thank you.

No, I wouldn't unless they're very small - they're said to be hardy, but the roots will be better protected in the ground than in pots over winter.
