some of the new fronds before they reach 30 cm high the tip of the frond dies off and it stops growing ,why is this? I do water daily through top of crown abeejbee

This happens when they're exposed to hot sun - they like a shady spot, could that be the problem?

very possibly, we have had extra hot sun recently although it is in shade about a third of the day, thank you

Ah - these are usually grown in either dappled shade, or more or less full shade.
