Technical question: After I have read a question and answers, I use the back button which then takes me staright back to the place I was before. (Does that make sense?) Now however, use of the back button takes me to the top of the questions page that I was previously on. It's annoying to have to scroll down again after every question and I wonder whether there is anything I can do to restore the previous status quo? I think it could me my laptop but not sure. can anyone help please?

I have never been able to go back they way you want to either . it is the way it is for me. the back button takes you back to the page you were on.
same with blogs.

Loosestrife, it worked! Still a mystery because I shut down my comp every night. Oh well, thankyou very much.
SBG, the back button has resumed taking me to not only the page but also the question I was on. Is that what you have?

Hi, you only have to press the backspace button very quickly, if you press it for too long it can take you back 2,3 or even more pages, Derek.
