phalaenopsis.have 24 flowers the roots are climbing out of pot they are about 9 inchs long and about 4 , what do i do, cut them off, or are they to be re-potted.

Leave them be - just make sure you spray them occasionally, with rainwater if possible. Only cut off dead brittle roots.

I think you just leave them to climb as they will and not repot, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page an choose O on Goypedia then orchids from the list there are a couple of really good blogs on the care of orchids
