I'm sorry to say I can't see it clearly, its somewhat out of focus - I can see narrow leaves which appear to be suffering from powdery mildew, but other than that, its quite hard to distinguish other features for ID from the photo.

Thanks Bamboo,no problem..I thought as much,as it's a very out of focus photo..If we ever revisit,I will try and take a better one ! or if Goy member ,Wildrose, goes again,as we were with her at the time,she lives much nearer :o)

It looks like a Michaelmas daisy in bud, to me. As Bamboo says, though, enough out of focus to make certainty, well, uncertain! :)

That could be a possibility,Tugbrethil,and thanks for trying to name it for me..I think I was really expecting the impossible,from this photo.! :o)
