The feral pigeons in my mum's garden are eating all her flowers - pansies, busy lizzies, fuschias, pansies etc. She has protected the ones in the flower beds with twine but do you know of any pretty flowers she can grow in pots that the pigeons won't eat?

you could always try a decoy falcon or owl

No - but could she try scaring them away with maybe a child's windmill, or a couple of old CDs attached to a cane? My neighbour does this, and it works.
