My white fragrance rose has really grown well, and looks so healthy.
Will it just grow this year, as I biught it earlier this year, and flower next year instead?
Thanks in advance.

Not knowing exactly what variety the rose is, Alex, it is hard to tell. Most modern rose varieties should bloom at least some this year, though some of the shrub roses and climbers have a tendency to bloom once a year, and so will wait until late spring next year to bloom. Heirloom and old roses have even more of a tendency to bloom once a year. On roses with that blooming habit, it is important to put off pruning until immediately after bloom, to keep from cutting off the future flower buds.
