I have built a raised garden for vegetables, I am filling this with soil I have dug out from my pond and mixing some compost in it, I also have some nearly new bags of Play Sand, Would this be ok to use in the Raised Garden ?.

Thanks for that, it will be as much compost as we can get our hands on, also I will top it up with compost when it is available.

Be sure to mix everything together well. In my experience, a homogeneous mixture works better than layers.

Sounds hopeful, Gooner. I would probably make it about half compost.
