Hi Bigalfie if these are going to be in pots or containers I wouldn't. Your garden compost is still going to harbour weed seeds that will grow and will look less than attractive.

I add my own and if any seeds do grow then they are easy to weed out.

Check Bamboo's reply to the other version of this question you put up... she points out there could be pathogens in your compost!
