Hi. It is the first time we have had hyacinths in the garden, but it looks like the white flower 'buds' have been eaten. Some totally, others slightly. We have also had some snowdrop buds eaten as well. We thought that may be slugs, but there is no sign of slugs on the hyacinths. Any help would be really appreciated

I have had a lot of snowdrops and daffodils being eaten here in Devon. I tend to blame slugs. It is disappointing isn't it but I have lots that are ok.

If your weather has been at all mild then molluscs may well have been active. We have had some damage to flowers as well. Not a lot one can do about it though, especially when the damage occurs before the flowers emerge from the soil.
