Thank you Nickyt Yes they are the daisy type flowers that I have (just one pot of them). Well I must thank you for a very full and detailed description of how to take, and root the cuttings. When it stops raining I will go outside and take a few cuttings as you suggest. The plant has looked so good over the last few months I didn't want to lose it. (I have a pic of them in 'my garden' on here.)...thanks again for your kind help.
Richard :-)

Hello.
I assume you mean the white or yellow daisies used for bedding?
Cut off 3inch long non-flowering shoots.
Remove the lower inch and a half of leaves
Trim the cutting to just below a leaf joint
Dip inot rooting hormone powder
Using a pencil, poke it into the compost (preferably a around the edge of the pot)
Insert and sit the pot in some water so that it can draw up the water.
Place somewhere light but not in direct sunlight, keeping it watered, but not wet. I keep mine slightly on the dry side as they rot off easily.
You will need somewhere frost free and above 12C overwinter or else they wont survive the winter.
Hope this has made sense!
