Tamarix found.
Hello gardeners, Just to let you know, I have just bought my tamarix just got to find someone to dig a hole now.
I have also bought 3 echincea roots and wondered if I should start them off in pots as I have slugs and snails, what do you think?

well done on finding the tamarix.
yes if the Echinacea are bare root I'd certainly start them off in pots of decent compost. that way they will have developed a good root system before going in the ground.
I have mine in the unheated greenhouse and I'll keep them there until late april then I'll harden them off and then plant them late april/early may.
