My Pyrocanther still has loads of berries which have started to shrivel. should I cut them off ? Some years the birds eat them all, but three years ago when there were lots left on it did not produce many the next year.

Cutting them off now won't affect this years crop as the flower buds are already formed. Cut them off if they bother you though. If you are concerned its not flowering well you could try a high potash feed which should help next year.
