Was given this pretty pot plant as a pressie...no label...Can any kind Goyer tell me what it is ?..I thought it was a Shrimp plant, but the leaves dont seem to match....thanks

Definitely a Bromeliad, but I'm thinking a Vriesia hybrid, maybe 'Astrid', or one of its kin.
