My garden has terrible drainage and is flooded, the house builder won't do anything about it. My kids can't even get out to play. Does anyone know how to fix this.

If its a new build, isn't it covered under the NHBC guarantee?

Your issue goes beyond the scope of this site. If your home is under water, get you and your kids out of there.

A word with the local building control officer or your insurance company might be of some use to help you see a way forward.

You may also want to consult with legal counsel regarding the builder.

A couple of practical things to think of:
Where is the water coming from?
Where did it used to go to, before building?
This may be something that has to be worked out with the neighbors, too.

Hi Chris and welcome to Goy. A photo or three of your garden would be useful. What was the agreement with your builder prior to the house being built, it sounds like he hasn't put any drainage in at all.
