Hi Scannell and welcome to GoY. What you have is an Arisaema part of the Aroid family. As to which one you'd need to put up another photo when the pitcher has formed, I could tell you a lot of Arisameas that it isn't but don't want to give a positive i.d. without seeing the spathe.

Whereabouts are you in the UK as it is very early to see and Arisaema this far on in growth. Needs to be outdoors and in a shady area, protect from any frost.

mine are just about an inch long and they are in the grrenhouse. looks as if it is going to be interesting.

Looking at the mottled shoot my first instinct was to sa 'Sauromatum' but it is way too early for this. Being more sensible I would agree with Arisaema. There are a number of species with mottled shoots so it is not possible to be more precise at the moment. When it does produce a flower try checking A. consanguineum or A. ciliatum.

SBG we've never grown our Arisaemas in the greenhouse always outside from the word go too warm in the GH in our view.
