Could you please advise why when our wisteria flowers it's also accompanied by a great deal of greenery which almost covers the flowers . We prune it in November and March and I'm wondering if this is the problem . I.e. Too much pruning.

More likely not enough pruning - the usual times to prune wisteria are August and February - when you do the February prune, you can be quite drastic, so long as you avoid cutting off stems which will bloom shortly. Info here https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=242
