Hi me again I have a tree in my garden which I wrongly thought of as a Copper beech but I now know it isn't. Could someone identify and tell me the correct name....is it a Maple or an Acer...It is about 15ft high and growing, when the sun catches it it is the most glorious color. Thank you so much

A bit difficult to photograph with the other trees around but here is my best shot...the hedge on the left is about 10 ft high so that gives you an idea of size. The other large Douglas Fir is coming down soon so this little beauty will have more light...I must add that the leaves will also get much larger as the season goes on.

Thank you for your attention. I agree with Bamboo now that I have looked at other photos. When the other trees are down I will prune it into a more slightly rounded shape...a job for 2018 !!

Yes it is an Acer/Maple, can you post a photo of the whole tree s out can be i.d.'ed please. At 15 foot in height unlikely to be one of the Japanese Acers.
