Can anybody tell me the name of this clematis which has just started to flower.
I can't even remember planting it?

Thank you for you for your reply but I couldn't find it on Andrewr blog but I have just checked it out on Taylor's Clematis Nursery and you are right as there is an identical picture on their site.

Marjories, it is on AndrewRs photos, 3rd row down, 2nd photo along. My Clematis is planted in full sun (when it ever shines!) but, as Andrew says, it does better in shade and doesn't bleach out. Too late to move mine now!

Thank you Shirley I have now seen it. Mine is in a shady spot so I hope it will do well.

I think it may be 'Guernsey Cream'. Have a look at a photo of one on AndrewR photos a week ago to compare.
