I'm about to get a Ficus macrophylla (Moreton Bay Fig tree) cut down as it's getting too big & interfering with the house/decking & growing to epic proportions. Is the wood good to use as firewood or best dumped?

Sorry you've had no answer, obviously on of the few members in your part of the world haven't seen your query. We wouldn't know here in Britain - they don't grow large, or at all, here.
