Good morning. I have 2 bay trees either side of my front door bought at the same time and looked after the same. One tree is bushy and has new leaves which then dry out . The other is smaller gets new leaves but they don't dry out . Why ?? As they are treated the same

Thanks Moon grower thay are in exactly the same place either side of the front door. They both get the same sun wind etc.

Are they in pots, or in the ground? If in pots, did they both get the same brand of potting compost?
If in the ground, were the planting holes prepared the same way, and were they planted at the same depth? If yes to the latter, were they planted deeper than in the original pot? Too deep planting can affect different plants differently.

Plants can be planted too deeply in pots, also.
