Hi All what is this it is build inside my shed door it is
about 1 inch in size it is like an old gas mantle for those who can remember at the moment it is empty it was not there yesterday

Over it with a plastic garbage bag, then knock it down into the bag & tie it up.

Could well be a solitary wasp's nest. Wait for a little while and see what develops before acting.

Most likely a potter wasp. They are solitary, though those little clay "pots" can multiply to become a minor nuisance. They only sting on extreme provocation, and they eat caterpillars. Unless the nests get in the way, I would consider them beneficial.

You have the start of a wasp nest , if you dont want them best to remove asap before it gets bigger. If you sit with a cuppa you will be able to see them coming and going ..
