Hi should I lift my primulas now that they have finished flowering I am fighting a losing battle with slugs and they are munching their way through the leaves at a rate of knots pellets and beer traps don't seem to be much good with all the rain we've had

Buy Erazer slug pellets - you need fewer of them because they're rain proof.
