My astilbie frounds seem to have gone brown. Do I cut them off and will they bloom again this summer??

I tend to leave mine until spring as the frost looks pretty on them and the goldfinches like the seeds.
but they don't repeat flower as steragram says.

Yes you can cut them off and no they won't bloom again. They make quite nice additions to dried flower arrangements though if you are into that sort of thing.
