Hello, my Nigella have been lovely, first time I have grown them and I now have many attractive seed pods. I don't want to miss the opportunity to collect the seeds and the pods haven't changed much at all since they formed. Will the pods pop open or dry up ? I opened one of the largest up and the seeds inside were bright green. They have dried out but not sure if they should ripen in the pods first. Any advice would be appreciated.

Previous question
the pods become papery and beige. the seeds should be jet black when ripe. the pod splits open across the top. the seeds are easy to collect and keep in an envelop or scatter them where you want them to grow. they will germinate and give you a good show next year. hope this helps :o)
