Can i move a 6ft bayleave tree to else were in the garden?

I suppose it's worth a try if you don't mind losing it...wait until the autumn, prepare the new planting site, then dig a trench round the tree. Then get the forks in and try to lift as much of the rootball as you can. Put it on a tarpaulin and drag it over to its new home - plant immediately, and water it well for its first year.
