Hi. My peppers are going sot and bad on the plant. Why is this and how to stop it.

I uploaded a picture of it. Look at bottom of pepper. Just started to turn red.

Have they all got brown or soft reddish areas at the bottom end and that's where they're going soft, or are you saying they're just soft and soggy all over? Blossom end rot can be an issue on peppers, and that discolouration you're seeing might be that.... it's a physiological disorder caused by irregular water supply, which disables calcium uptake.

It looks to me like it was wounded recently. Has it been handled by non-gardeners and/or children recently?

I am the only one handling them. Second year of growing them. No problem last year.

Yes the are slightly reddish at bottom before going soft and bad on bottom
