Plant ID Please, We enjoyed a visit to an open gardens day in a village called Tunstall in North Yorkshire yesterday and particularly liked this plant, it was alongside and amongst some tall grasses. Definitely resembled a dianthus I thought, and wondered if anyone can pinpoint it?
Thanks

I'd suggest it's dianthus carthusianorum.

It is indeed a dianthus and looks very like the species Dianthus pinifolius.a native to the Balkans and whish we grow in the garden.
